With a durable GOTS-certified 100% organic heavy duty cotton canvas exterior and our Italian leather trim, it’s an even match for our original all-leather Sloan Backpack. It has the same built-in padded black neoprene laptop sleeve in the main compartment, so your laptop is well protected. An equivalent roomy main compartment has space for your chargers and notebooks and a nylon zipper to prevent scratches and scuffs. The consistent design of the front exterior zipper pocket and the two exterior side pockets trimmed with leather means the same slender pockets with maximum carrying space for your keys, wallet, phone, or water bottle. Plus the convenient leather top carry handle and leather-trimmed adjustable padded shoulder straps will always make this style an accessory you'll never leave at home.

    Our Canvas Collection material is top quality, made from heavy duty 100% organic cotton designed to handle daily wear with class. Undyed and uncoated, our canvas has an all-natural feel and style, characterized by the lightly speckled pattern in the weave of the material. This collection is also GOTS and OCS-certified, meaning its production process has a minimal negative impact on the environment.

    The trim is made with our LWG-certified Italian Unlined collection which features a lightly coated exterior for added wear protection. This collection is lightweight and adds structure that will soften over time.

    Care: To maintain the natural color of your styles, wipe spots with a damp towel and mild soap or use our Canvas Spot Cleaner. Learn more about canvas cleaning tips here.

    For the leather trim, you can spot clean with a damp cloth. Note we do not recommend using our leather conditioner or cleaner on this leather.

      I’m not one to typically write reviews but I love my backpack so much! It’s even prettier in person! I use it for work to carry my MacBook (love the neoprene sleeve) + it has plenty of room for other stuff. It has a relaxed structure which I love because it keeps it feminine and fun! Highly recommend! I got the Camel color with my initials (Trapunto).

      I love this backpack! I was looking for a purse/bag that wouldn’t fall off my shoulder when I bent down to help my kids, that also would free up my hands AND that I could use for traveling! This bag checks all those boxes and I get compliments everywhere I go because of the quality and uniqueness of the monogram. Truly is a winner all around!

      Ordered this as a birthday gift for my son. Love the canvas material. But afterwards wondered whether this bag can withstand harsh climate conditions, like rain or snow? Even heavy-duty canvas gets wet. So then you wonder how that affects the contents, like your iPad or Mac? What protects them from being damaged? Seems better suited for conditions depicted in photos. Great for dry climates. Perfect for southern Nevada desert. But worse possible choice for the unpredictable weather of Chicago. So this rating is low because those relevant concerns are not addressed in description of a beautiful product.

      This backpack is chic enough to replace your designer handbag (and save your back). I got the brown leather, which is luxuriously soft and expensive-looking. And go with the trapunto monogram - it's scaled perfectly for the bag and looks high-end. Backpack is way lighter than I anticipated. It has side pockets that are perfect to put your phone in for easy access and it doesn't look bulky or make you look like a hunch-back even when you're carrying it a lot. Could you please add some more colors? White would be fantastic.

      Perfect bag
      Could there be a perfect bag? I think this is it. I’ve been looking at this backpack for a year and finally decided to take the plunge. The social media manager for their Instagram account was nice enough to post examples of the lettering options and I knew exactly which one I wanted! Was incredibly helpful and I use this bag daily. Gym, work, running errands - it makes everything easier now and looks gorgeous. The leather is soft but won’t wrinkle, drops wipe away without staining. 10/10! Now I just need a matching sunglass case and I’ll be set!
