Returns
What can I return?
Eligible items: Non-personalized items in brand-new, unused condition with all original packaging (box, dust bag, hang tags, etc.) can be returned up to 30 days after the delivery date.
Ineligible items: Personalized items, final sale items, and gift cards are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged.
Please note: We cannot accept items that show signs of use, scratches, damage, or have missing/removed packaging or missing "do not remove" tags. Items sold as a set must be returned as a complete set — individual pieces cannot be returned separately. If any item from the set is missing, the return will be declined. Leatherology reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these conditions
How to initiate a return
You can submit a return request through any order-related email (confirmation, shipment, or delivery) by clicking the "View My Orders" button, or by logging directly into your Leatherology account using the email or phone number used to place your order (prior account creation isn't required). Navigate to your order and if it is eligible, a "Return" option will appear to begin the process.
Once your return request is submitted:
- You will receive an email within 24 hours with your return approval and shipping instructions, including your return label if applicable.
- Pack the item carefully in its original packaging (box, dust bag, etc.) and place inside a shipping box or mailer.
- Ship using the method provided:
- Leatherology Label (Contiguous 48 States): Attach the provided return label ($7.50 for 1 item, $10 for 2+ items, deducted from your refund). Drop off with the carrier specified on the label (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)
- Your Own Label: Attach your own label and ship with a trackable carrier (you cover the cost)
- Items sold as a set must be returned complete. Please do not combine returns from different orders. Returns shipped more than 14 days after authorization may be refused or refunded as store credit. We reserve the right to deny any return.
International Orders
If you are outside the contiguous United States, the process for initiating a return is the same as above. However, the Leatherology Label option is unavailable — you will need to use your own label and cover your own return shipping costs. We recommend shipping with a trackable, insured carrier and including the return information slip inside.
Refunds
Please allow up to 7–10 business days for your refund to be processed after we receive your return (allow extra time during holidays). Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For international orders, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are also non-refundable. Returns shipped more than 14 days after authorization may be refused or refunded as store credit. We reserve the right to deny any return.
Exchanges
Direct exchanges are not available. If you would like a different item, please return your item and place a new order.
Complimentary Gift Promotions
For gift-with-purchase promotions, your complimentary gift is contingent on meeting the qualifying purchase amount. If a return brings your order subtotal below the promotion threshold, the gift will need to be returned along with your items or will be charged at its full retail price.
Gift Returns
If you received a Leatherology item as a gift and would like to return it for store credit, please contact us. To locate your return, we'll need the original order number from your gift invoice. If you don't have the invoice, please reach out and we'll do our best to locate the order. Please note that if we are unable to locate the transaction or the item falls outside of our return policy, we will be unable to process the return.
Amazon Purchases
If your purchase was made on Amazon, you must log in to your Amazon account to initiate the return.
