Gift Card FAQs
Do gift cards expire? No, your virtual gift card does not have an expiration date.
How do I redeem my gift card? Virtual gift cards are redeemable online at leatherology.com only. You can redeem your gift card code during the payment section of the checkout process.
How can I check my balance? Enter your gift card code during the payment section at checkout to view your remaining balance.
How long does it take to receive a gift card when purchased? In most situations, you will be able to view your gift card and/or its order receipt immediately. However, in some instances it can take up to 4 hours to process your payment thereby delaying your access to the gift card.
What does the recipient receive when their gift card arrives? Once purchased, the recipient of the virtual gift card will receive an email about their gift either immediately or at the time you indicated when adding the card to your cart. The email will include the gift card code, your personal message, and details on how to redeem.
Does the full value of the card have to be redeemed at once? If your order subtotal is over the amount on the gift card, the full gift card balance will be applied to your order total once redeemed. If your order subtotal is less than the full gift card balance, the remainder will stay on your gift card.
Can I use a gift card with another payment method? Yes, if your order total exceeds your gift card balance, you can pay the remaining amount with another payment method at checkout.
Is there a limit to the number of gift cards I can redeem at once? You can apply as many gift cards as you have codes for to your total cart at checkout. You can also combine multiple gift cards into one balance through the My Gift Cards tab in your account.
My gift card code isn't working — what do I do? Double-check that you've entered the code exactly as it appears, with no extra spaces. If it still isn't working, contact our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478 for assistance.
What happens if I lose my gift card code? Please treat your gift cards like cash. If you lose your printed gift card or the digital code before you have redeemed it, please immediately contact our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478.
Can I cancel or edit a scheduled gift card delivery? If you scheduled your gift card to be sent at a future date and need to make changes, please contact our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478 as soon as possible.
Can I return my Leatherology gift card? No, gift cards are non-refundable and not eligible for return or exchanges.
Can gift cards be redeemed for cash? No, gift cards are not redeemable for cash online except as required by law. They also cannot be used for the purchase of other gift cards.
Can I add value to an existing gift card? No, gift cards cannot be reloaded. Each card has a fixed value, and any unused balance remains available for future purchases.
Does my gift card have any added fees? No, there will be no additional processing or maintenance fees charged during the purchase of gift cards or against the unused balance of the gift cards.
Can I use a coupon code to purchase a gift card? No, coupon codes and discounts of any kind are not applicable to gift card purchases.
Are gift cards eligible for use on corporate orders? No, gift cards are not applicable to any corporate orders. Corporate clients may purchase gift cards, but they cannot be used to fulfill a corporate order.
Leatherology Virtual Gift Card Terms & Conditions
The following Leatherology Virtual Gift Card Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") describes the terms and conditions that apply to the use of Leatherology Virtual Gift Cards ("Cards") issued in the U.S. and internationally. This Agreement is between you, the Cardholder, and DC International, Inc ("DCI"). By purchasing, accepting, or using your Card, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with this Agreement, do not purchase, use, or accept the Card.
1. Changes to Agreement
DCI reserves the right to change this Agreement from time to time at its discretion. Changes may be communicated by any reasonable means, including by posting the revised version of this Agreement at leatherology.com. Your continued use of the Card after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
2. About Your Card
Cards are issued by DCI, the affiliated parent of Leatherology, and are authorized for sale and redemption online at leatherology.com. DCI is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Card program and is the sole legal obligor to the Cardholder. Leatherology and its affiliates and related entities bear no responsibility or liability for the use or malfunction of any Cards, and you hereby release Leatherology and its affiliates and related entities (other than DCI) from any and all liability or claims arising in connection with the use of the Cards.
Leatherology Virtual Gift Cards can only be purchased online at leatherology.com. There are no other authorized retailers of Leatherology Virtual Gift Cards.
3. Balance Inquiry
You can check your Card balance by entering your code during the checkout process. The balance displayed is an estimate. In most cases, the balance is adjusted immediately when you make a purchase, but there may be occasions when the adjustment is delayed.
4. Expiration
Leatherology Virtual Gift Cards do not expire. No inactivity or service fees apply. DCI reserves the right to refuse to honor any Card in the event of a disputed credit card charge, bounced check, pricing error, or other failure of consideration.
5. Redemption
Cards are redeemable for merchandise purchases online at leatherology.com only. Cards have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash (except as required by law) or used to purchase another Card.
6. Refunds, Cancellations, or Exchanges
Cards are non-refundable and not eligible for cancellation or exchange.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Cards
Please treat your Card like cash. If your printed Card or digital code is lost, stolen, or malfunctioning, contact our Customer Care team immediately at 1.800.818.4478.
8. Limitation of Warranties
DCI and its affiliates make no representations or warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the website, its information, content, availability, or shipping.
9. Limitation of Liability
In the event that a Card is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of the Card. If a Card is priced incorrectly on our website, we will notify you of the correct pricing via email and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order. DCI reserves the right to cancel a Card order due to pricing or other errors, or to refuse an order for any reason it deems reasonable.
10. Fraud
DCI reserves the right to refuse to process an order for a Card or honor a Card redemption where DCI suspects the Card was obtained fraudulently.
11. Choice of Law/Forum Selection
Where this Agreement permits the parties to litigate in court, this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, excluding its conflict of law rules. You expressly consent and agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue in Texas.
12. Severability
The provisions of this Agreement are intended to be interpreted in a manner that makes them valid, legal, and enforceable. If any provision is found to be partially or wholly invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be modified or restricted to the extent necessary to render it valid, legal, and enforceable. Such modification may be made unilaterally by DCI or by an arbitrator or court of law. If a provision cannot be modified or restricted, it shall be excised from this Agreement without affecting the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
