    This is the journal for the person who wants something sophisticated and functional. The Spiral Wrap Journal includes an unlined European leather cover and a spiral bound journal insert. The featured insert lays completely flat when open and has a hard-plastic cover to lend structure. Perfect for notetaking, the pages are ruled and perforated. A refillable design, simply remove and replace the journal insert when full and keep writing.

    A rugged yet refined leather, our Rustico collection features a full body and heavy shrunken grain. This collection is tanned in Italy in small batches from full grain Buffalo shoulders. Made to highlight the gorgeous character of full grain leather, Rustico leathers get their grain texture through a natural tumbling process which allows the leather to develop unique lines and grain depth. It is also vegetable-tanned and aniline dyed, which is the most natural method of adding color to leather, and one that leaves the natural leather surface and all its original markings completely visible. A hand glazed finish tops it off, for added shine and protection.

    Care: Spot clean with a damp cloth. Use our leather cleaner and conditioner to maintain your leather’s beautiful texture and shine.

    An inky black, this midnight-hued leather is luxury at its finest. Ebony is a customer and team favorite for its beautiful color and texture.

      Fantastic Journal
      Great quality journal for my needs! The leather is soft and supple but feels like it can handle a lifetime of use. Fine craftsmanship and the embossing is looks fantastic.

      My only complaint is small but is also the only reason I'm hesitant to give it 5 stars. There isn't any "easy to find" blank journals that fit well inside this cover. The lined journals it comes with are great, smooth paper but doesn't bleed very much with fountain pens (I wouldn't use it for watercolors). But I'd love a blank version of the journal refills for cleaner sketches. Or perhaps even an actual sketchbook that fits inside, that would be neat!
