Cannot say enough good things about this bag! Perfect size, excellent craftsmanship, beautiful leather and very reasonable price. Only negative feature…..magnetic clasp needs to be much stronger.

This bag is really what I was looking for: a nice shade of natural color that doesn't get dirty and I can pair it with most of my outfits. Small but I can fit so much( big wallet, makeup bag, phone, bottle of water, snacks..). The leather is very nice gained leather.

So, I received my bag within about 3 weeks of the original order. I can tell you now that after carrying it for about 6 weeks, it has been one of my BEST EVER purchases!

Here’s why:
1. It easily folds flat for storage with the bottom panel being removable (makes it easy if you need to tidy it up).

2. The straps are generous enough to carry over shoulder and by hand.

3. It literally carries all my needs through long spring/summer days.

4. It does have a professional/business presence which can be made playful with adding personalization.

5. The Navy is a TRUE Navy!

6. The bag offers several generously sized “go to” pockets for cell phones, wallets and a key chain.

Lastly, I encourage Leatherology to consider taking Special Orders on this bag, allowing for our color of choice outside of those “safe” colors offered. I think Leatherology would be surprised as to how many takers there would be. After these past couple years a Special bag in our color choice would make moving about that much more exciting. I hope this information helps.

I was so excited to receive this bag! I was fine with less packaging. The bag itself is beautiful. I took it on a work trip and soon realized how bulky and heavy it is... carrying a laptop and other things was a challenge. The strap did not provide any help. It is a bag that looks beautiful but is not functional. If you can next to nothing in it, it will not be prohibitively heavy and keep its shape. Otherwise, it is not "XL" work bag that works.

I get compliments on this bag all the time. It’s got plenty of space for the essentials - wallet, phone, keys, hand sanitizer, chapstick, etc. I tend to fill the bag I have with stuff I don’t necessarily need, so this is exactly what I needed to help me edit down and not carry around a bunch of crap all day. The long strap is the perfect length. I got my initials hand painted on top and it looks amazing!

Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Leather is soft and pretty. I’ve worn the bag for a week and keep getting compliments. Happy with this purchase.

I received my Kress XL tote w/ trapunto letters, in Navy last week. I was like a kid waiting for Santa to arrive. I had only previously ordered straps for my pouches in the past, and had been pleased. I was hesitant about the purchase, not because of price, but because it was a personalized order. I understand there are no returns on such orders with most retailers. Well, all I can say is “Santa delivered!” The navy color is rich and looks like navy! Not a navy that’s so dark that you confuse it with black. The bag is well made and the trapunto letters…OUTSTANDING! So well done! The letters are subtle but, classic. As far as space…more than enough! I wanted a bag that I can carry bottled water, scarf, personals, flip-flops, etc as I move about this spring and summer. This bag more than covers my needs. This IS my go to bag for the season. I Love it! I, like another reviewer, I wish Leatherology would venture out with this bag in more colors. I would love bright colors to carry anytime of year. Thank you for a great bag.

I love this bag! It’s the perfect size and color! The only thing is I wish the magnetic clasp was stronger.

This is my favorite style of handbag. This is a little bigger than a regular tote so I can carry more. My friends say they love to go out with me because I carry everything. The average weight of my tote filled is about 20 lbs. Love this bag!

Huge fan of leatherology and their products. I was so hoping this would be the bag that steals the show. It’s absolutely gorgeous and soft. I love the trapunto style (please allow for more products and colors to have this personalization). I really want to give this 5 stars but it just misses the mark and here’s why.

1) no zipper. Adding a small zipper to keep this bag shut would have been the icing on the cake. The magnet is nice but doesn’t do the job if you have a bag of stuff and your purse falls over in the car.
2) No pretty box it comes in. Every other of the crossbody bags I’ve ordered has come in a gorgeous leatherology box with felt wrap cloth. This one just came in a shipping box. Part of the allure of leatherology is how nicely things normally come. You can just put a ribbon around the box and call it a day. Not with this bag. Really feels like they just didn’t want to spend the money to keep their experience like no other. I was a little disappointed. For $350 I think this bag should come packaged nicely (just how they package their other products).
3) Colors. It frustrates me to no end that certain products of theirs only come in certain colors. It doesn’t make sense. Unleash the possibilities please and allow for everything to come in any color and with trapunto! I would have ordered a slate blue bag as well but they don’t have that color available in the Kress.
