good quality leather. However, for an executive portfolio, it is way to thin (not wide enough). Furthermore, in terms of functionality- not many compartments, not worth the price.

Really fine craftsmanship, and quality you can feel inside and out.

Zipper operation is snug on the 'new' folio, but as the leather softens with use, this will resolve itself. The compartment for an iPad fits a NAKED iPad perfectly: if your iPad has a case/cover, it will not slide into the designated compartment.

Pockets are nicely sized and the craftsmanship is evident. The pen holder has an elastic band which will accommodate a larger writing instrument (if that's how you roll).

I had some very specific needs and wants when it came to a new folio. I looked at a few online and the Leatherology folio seemed to meet my criteria. I'm always a little concerned when I order items online though - I usually prefer to see them in person and handle them before purchase. Nevertheless, I looked forward to receiving my new folio in the mail, and when it came, I was not disappointing - not even a little. First off, the packaging was very impressive and spoke of high quality. Next, the folio itself was even nicer than I realized from viewing it online. Overall, I am very impressed with Leatherology and the product I ordered. It's nice to find a company that pays this much attention to the small details.
