Quality ++This is a very high quality product of soft supple leather with a smooth zipper closure. It is immediately obvious why you would splurge on a piece like this. I'll use it forever. A perfect gift for someone who is hard to buy for.

What you would expect, but priceyLeatherology seems to be priced at the high end of this market. Their products are what you would expect and have the quality and attention to detail one would appreciate. One star off for the reaction when I told someone how much I paid for it. One star off because they sent me the wrong product which is almost identical to this (the Executive Zippered Portfolio).

MB Air PortfolioI have lived with this portfolio for a couple of weeks now. The fit is very good and the color is exactly what I wanted. Perfect for notes, a few papers and the Macbook.
I had some concerns about the feel of the leather, but I think it is due to the padding and I have gotten used to it. Had a few compliments on it as well.
Only thing I would change is the extra pockets for misc. papers, etc. They should open the other way. If you use the portfolio in right-hand mode, papers tend to fall out when you open it. It's that gravity thing. The Macbook stays snug.
