Zippered Downtown Diaper Bag

Great everyday bag. It's lovely material and well enough made to take a lot of abuse. Don't tell anybody it's marketed as a diaper bag (I don't have kids) and they will never know. I'm on a work trip this week and pulled out the insert, tossed it in my checked bag, then fit two laptops in sleeves in the bag, zipped it up, and made it under the 7kg weight limit for carry on. For me, the zipper is key for security and for not dumping things out when I toss it in the car. It was a big reason I bought this bag over others and it did not disappoint. I found the company via Wirecutter and delivery and quality of bag lived up to the review.

I bought this bag over two years ago and have used daily since. It is the highest quality purse I have ever owned. The leather still looks brand new, there are no worn edges or stains at all and I am ROUGH on this bag. I mean, this bag has been in the dirt and gotten splashed at the pool and once had a chocolate bar melt inside and everything cleaned up like nothing happened. The insert is incredibly helpful - I used it at first to carry around large diapers and a change of clothes for my toddler, and now continue to use it daily for myself. It will hold everything I want to bring, including a 40oz water bottle upright in the organizer. The lining is still in absolutely perfect condition with no sign of wear. The zipper has always functioned flawlessly and is so helpful in keeping things contained. It's really a high quality product and I would recommend it to anybody, especially with the insert it is just a perfect bag.

I love this bag!! The color is bright and vibrant. The leather is soft and expensive looking. Im using it as a purse and the insert is perfect if you need organization.

This is a great diaper bag tote! It smells delicious and so soft. The insert gives it a nice structure and organization.

My wife had the taupe color that she uses as a purse. I bought her the teal, and it's just as nice. The teal has a more pronounced grain and the color is just as nice as the photos show.

She can change purses in seconds simply by swapping the internal compartment carrier.

Let me start by saying that I am a bit of a purple person, and this grape doesn't disappoint. It looked brighter on my phone, more spring/festive, but on the computer it was a rich royal. I wasn't sure what to expect, but either would be more fun than the typical black/brown, or canvas tote. It arrived today in all its purple glory! The purple is reserved and regal.

The leather is very soft, but still feels durable, and the "pebble"ing stretches at you rub it, telling me it will only get softer with age/use.

Zippers are chunky nickel. They glide effortlessly. The top zipper folds in instead of up, making the edge look finished even when unzipped.

Inside there are three pockets, two open and one zip. All are good-sized, and exactly what I would need. It comes with a bonus matching leather little zip pouch that you can tether to the bag. The bag is lined with a thick durable black fabric.

The insert is black and not terribly exciting, except, for me this is what will keep the bag from becoming a bottomless pit. It has some dividers/pockets as pictured. One thing to note, the divider is not rigid. It arrives folded and takes some time to relax to its shape. The more you stuff into it the happier it is.

The flexibility of the insert was actually a good thing, as the bag itself is a bit smaller than I imagined. TRUE TO ITS DIMENSIONS, just not over-sized by any means. The tote comfortably holds my 15 inch laptop and the insert holds my cords and wallet, etc. There isn't a whole ton of space beyond that, but I can stuff a 1 inch binder and a small textbook in when the insert isn't super full.

When you look at the pictures, the picture of it filled, that's an ipad mini in one of the open side pockets, note the bag is about one bottle deep. I pictured the bag relaxing at 5 inches, but zippered and hanging on my arm it is actually quite petite/thin. When zipped, the top is 3 and a half inches deep. The bag is larger than a typical purse, but it is smaller than the 5 inches deep that I pictured. Overall just big enough for a laptop bag for grad school. The handle drop is a great length over a light jacket. 12.5 tall is accurate, the zipper tucked in makes this feel shorter. The top of the bag is 18 wide when flat, but 16 when full.

And that's all that matters. The quality of the leather and the zippers is great and the organizer is just what she has been looking for - nothing gets hidden in this purse. A pleasant surprise was that the purse is very light for its size. Note that I call it a "purse", because that's what she uses it as. There isn't anything "diapery" about it.

I love this bag. It's a great size and the insert really helps to keep it from turning into a bottomless pit. Unlike with most other diaper bags, this bag can continue to be used as an everyday purse way past our toddler years.

The one feature that I wish I had, are the two metal rings for stroller clips to attach to on both sides of the zipper. Right now I'm just storing underneath my stroller in cargo basket or on my arm; but I wish I had the ability to turn it into a handle attached bag and keep items right up top by me.
