Ok, this may seem a little out there but bare with me. I have some very, Very loved paperback books, (referrence material), that I go to over and over again. But I've never liked how bindings on paperbacks are so tight; you just can't get to the center to annotate anything. So when you crease the spine repeatedly, the pages eventually start to fall out.
There is another company out there that offers the equipment to punch the inner (spine) edge of anything and add the pages to one of their leather bound notebooks by means of multiple fixed 'ring' system. So I dismantled the book, punched all the pages with their proprietary machines, and was about to buy one of their leather bound ring binders....UNTIL I compared their price to that of this book cover. As it turns out, having the book loose in this cover adds a great deal more flexibility than having the book re-mounted to their fixed ring system. Both covers have zippers, only the Leatherology cover has a convenient handle, the very soft leather I chose is supperior to what they use, (and feels wonderful), and all for 2/5ths the price. I could not be happier. Eat your heart out L______r. Among Leatherolgy's leathers I vastly prefer the very soft over the soft.

Top quality product, excellent construction quality and really great looking!
My only issue (a big issue for me) with this bible holder is that the handle is quite stiff so it doesn't lay flat very well at all.
